TeLQAS is a domain-specific question answering system developed as a research project in Iran Telecom Research Centre (ITRC). The aim of TeLQAS is to take a question in natural language and then provide the user with both a direct answer and a set of supportive related documents. TeLQAS is a distinctive project among others in the way it uses a wide variety of different methodologies and techniques of Information Retrieval and Computational Linguistics. With a scaleable and modular architecture we have used different components for Query Processing, Plausible Answering, Summarization & Navigation, Ontology ,Focused Crawling and Automatic Categorization. People in TeLQAS have had many innovation to improve both the architecture and components. (4KJ)
