CODS - Collaborative Ontology Development Service    (5FE)

A joint BMIR / CIM3 project to develop the infrastructure to host an open Collaborative Ontology Development Service and Ontology Repository for the ontology community at large.    (5FF)

The infrastructure is based on the client-server version of the Protege application (a.k.a. multi-user Protege), hosted on a Tier-1 facility provided by CIM3.NET.    (5FG)

Accessing the server    (9ZO)

Before accessing the server, you need to download and install the correct version of the Protege client. While other versions of Protege clients may work, you will get the best results by downloading the correct version. Currently, the correct Protege client is version 3.4, which can be obtained from Stanford's Protege website.    (9ZV)

Directions on how to connect to the Protege Server - but use the revision level (version/build) of Protege that is identical to that which is running on the server:    (9ZT)
